Have to confess I was a coffee drinker too, but it wired me up too much so on doctor's orders had to stop...miss the aroma... but tea is an altogether different experience...:)Gopika Nathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05045583005627540260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7332104658431066325.post-77665418029393443362013-07-11T22:52:47.717+05:302013-07-11T22:52:47.717+05:30Gopika, I've never been much of a tea drinker....Gopika, I've never been much of a tea drinker. It has always been coffee for me. But this post of yours is so compelling, I'm tempted to get myself a glass teapot, if only to satisfy my creative instincts. And in the process, if my tea loving hubby benefits, its a super bonus for me:) Lovely thoughts and a lovely post...priyahttp://www.priyanarayanan.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7332104658431066325.post-71972998099883089142013-06-24T19:26:22.217+05:302013-06-24T19:26:22.217+05:30Julia, I guess each has their own way of making te...Julia, I guess each has their own way of making tea and the ritual is different for all. I remember a time when I would just dunk a tea bag and be happy, but gradually I started enjoy finer teas and experimented with different blends, often making my own as I went along. Things change but even now, when I am rushed I resort to the same... You should look for that Tea cosy, I would be interested in seeing it. Thanks for stopping by.:)Gopika Nathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05045583005627540260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7332104658431066325.post-84848931250621077282013-06-22T16:10:03.904+05:302013-06-22T16:10:03.904+05:30Incidentally Gopika, I am one with far less patien...Incidentally Gopika, I am one with far less patience. My process is like this. I set the kettle to boil. As soon as it does, I put my one spoon/half spoon of leaf tea and allow it to simmer over once. Then i let the tea sit for a bit. I prefer a see through glass cup, instead. In my days at school, I had made a tea cozy for Needle Work. I have never used it though, although, while my surrogate mother, my masi was alive, she kept it very safely. No idea at all where it is now. Lovely post Gopika. I love to read anything and everything on tea.Julia Duttahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08846895945401962741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7332104658431066325.post-23790094479325972952013-06-22T16:05:53.304+05:302013-06-22T16:05:53.304+05:30This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
